The conference for the National Genealogical Society (NGS) will be held May 2-5 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this year. If you are like me and won’t be attending in person, NGS offers three packages to watch live streamed lectures from the conference. I will be purchasing the ten-lecture package again this year. Can’t make it to the 2018 NGS Conference in Grand Rapids? Want to experience sessions from the comfort of your home or view sessions again? You can register now for two days of live streaming with a bonus of one year additional on-demand streaming access (until 5 May 2019). NGS has selected several key tracks and topics. On 3 May, three live stream lectures will focus on DNA’s role in supplementing genealogical research. Two other talks will discuss African American and Loyalist research. The selections on 4 May feature lectures by the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) that emphasize research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Choose from a one-day pass and watch five sessions (either day) or the two-day pass and watch all ten sessions as they happen live. The Live Stream sessions take place 3–4 May 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan (Eastern Standard Time) at the NGS 2018 Family History Conference.
